Job Description Summary Reporting to the Vice President, Development, the Development Officer will be responsible for supporting the fundraising team's efforts, including the portfolio of prospects that are directly being cultivated by the Chief Executive Officer and President of Enterprise's Solutions Division. Under the guidance of the Vice President, the Development officer will undertake prospect research, collaborate with Resource Development colleagues to prepare funder briefings and prep materials, and develop grant proposals to and provide regular reporting to corporate, foundation and government funders.The Development Officer will work alongside Enterprise's existing Resource Development, and Development Services teams to ensure that Enterprise's senior leadership, including the office of the CEO and Presidents, are fully prepared in advance of funder cultivation and solicitation meetings. This position is an entry level fundraising position intended to develop strong research, writing, presentation and prospect management skills, all of which are foundational to a successful career in philanthropic fundraising. Research, grant writing/reporting, and coordination amongst Enterprise teams, and across a wide variety of programmatic activities and programs, will be a heavy focus of this position. This role will contribute to organization-wide and team-based KPIs by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and ongoing requests, as well as exploring opportunities to add value to our collective fundraising potential. The salary range for this position is represented by the low and high end of the range for the amount to be paid for the position.
