Senior Program Manager

Introduction

As a Senior Program Manager, you will lead high-visibility, transformative projects for a global client, leveraging Agile methodologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to redefine customer engagement, optimize operations, and enable innovative business models. Your leadership and expertise in managing cross-functional teams will be essential in driving operational excellence, meeting program objectives, and aligning with business goals.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Act as a central collaboration point between functional leaders, delivery teams, and PMO to ensure successful program alignment and execution.

  • Build and foster strong relationships with clients, delivery teams, and Account Executives to promote trust and engagement.

  • Lead project planning and execution, tracking deliverables, managing risks, and ensuring client satisfaction.

  • Oversee a portfolio of programs, prioritizing initiatives and ensuring readiness for successful implementation.

  • Drive program performance, aligning deliverables with business case success metrics and reporting outcomes to stakeholders.

  • Proactively assess, monitor and address change impact on business operations, clients and employees.

  • Mentor delivery teams to meet contractual obligations, maintain high performance, and achieve goals on time and within budget.

  • Maintain situational awareness of day-to-day activities on the ground, serving as the first escalation point for the client and identify opportunities for continuous improvement of delivery services.

  • Manage escalations, resolve delivery challenges, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in services and processes.

  • Contribute to PMO initiatives by enhancing program management capabilities and maintaining reporting excellence.

  • Support bid and proposal activities, ensuring compliance with performance and contractual standards.

* Time and Budget Management: Expertise in creating, managing, and adhering to timelines and budgets while delivering high-quality outcomes.

* Agile Methodologies: Proficiency in Agile frameworks, including backlog management, iterative development, and facilitation of Agile ceremonies.

* Adaptability: Resilience and flexibility to manage shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.

Required Qualifications:

* 11+ years of experience in program management, strategy development, or operational leadership, with a proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional initiatives.

* Expertise in managing application development projects, preferably on the Microsoft platform.

* Experience in contract management, including estimations, scheduling, budgeting, and issue resolution.

* Proven experience with managing contracts: estimations, scheduling, budgeting, profitability, issue resolution, and authoring proposals/statements of work.

* Demonstrated ability to mentor and grow delivery staff capabilities while meeting or exceeding client expectations.

* Skilled in mitigating risks, resolving challenges, and driving successful program outcomes.

* Proficient in spend plan creation and management aligned with project timelines and budgets.

Preferred Skills:

* Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master).

* Strong background in Agile methodologies and practices.

* Experience with cloud-native services and modernization projects.
