Competitive Wages: We value your hard work & dedication. Summary: We are embarking on a thrilling journey and seeking a skilled and safety-conscious High-Lift Operator to join our team. The High-Lift Operator will be the hero of our warehouse, operating high-lift machinery, such as forklifts, cherry pickers, and scissor lifts, to move materials and personnel to designated locations within our facility. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the necessary certifications to operate high-lift equipment. What You'll Be Doing: Material Handling: Safely operate high-lift equipment to stack products in designated storage areas. Rotate products according to customer specifications. Accurately pick and assemble orders for shipment. Inventory Management: Ensure the integrity of customer inventory and assist in physical inventory counts. Identify and immediately report any damaged, lost, or missing products to warehouse leadership. Equipment Maintenance: Conduct daily inspections of all material handling equipment. Place unsafe or out-of-service equipment in the designated area and notify leadership for repairs. Warehouse Operations: Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, or repacking as needed. Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Adhere to safe working practices and comply with state, local, and federal regulations. Interact professionally with warehouse management, personnel, customers, vendors, and guests. Documentation: Complete required records, reports, and daily paperwork accurately. What You Need: Education: High School diploma or GED. Experience: 2-3 years of experience operating high-lift equipment in a similar environment. Knowledge & Skills: Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing English. Ability to count accurately and perform simple math. Capability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. Ability to work independently and follow directions responsibly. Physical Demands and Work Environment: Ability to stand, sit, squat, crawl, bend, twist, and kneel. Navigate through narrow and confined spaces. Work on sloping, uneven, and/or slippery surfaces. Possible exposure to high noise levels requiring hearing protection. Use hands and fingers to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights. Lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds of heavy objects.
