Alternative Project Delivery Advisor

RK&K is seeking a well-qualified individual to develop procurement strategies, advise clients, and draft procurement documents for traditional and alternative delivery of transportation and water/wastewater projects. This Procurement and Contracts Advisor position is a hands-on position that requires significant interaction with clients and development of work product. Location is flexible but will need to be a drivable distance from an RK&K office location.

Essential Function

• Conduct Project Risk Analysis and make Procurement Type Recommendations.
• Coordinate with technical, financial, and legal teams and lead the development of contract documents including performance specifications.
• Working knowledge of Federal, State and Local requirements for public transportation and water/wastewater procurements.
• Develop procurement and evaluation processes and assist Owners with procurement administration.
• Assist Owners with Industry Meetings, Pre-Proposal Meetings, Confidential Meetings, etc.
• Coordinate with Third Parties and draft 3^rd party agreements.
• Assist in the development of Teaming Agreements and Professional Services Agreements for alternative delivery projects.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of a BS in Engineering
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in a similar role required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Ability to work with and coordinate efforts of technical staff, non-technical staff, and legal advisors required.
• Occasional travel may be required.
