Trailer Mechanic

We are looking for a Trailer Mechanic to help us meet production and quality goals. As a Trex Trailer Mechanic for Supply Chains you'll be performing mechanical repairs to Trex trailer equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Put safety first - always

Work as a team to drive our "people first" culture

Regularly complete repairs and maintenance on a variety of trailers types

Perform scheduled services, as needed, in conjunction with our established service schedules

Ensure that the Trex Fleet Trailers are safe and in proper working conditions for usage

Perform daily yard checks of trailers as required by law

Maintain all proper paperwork for each trailer

Complete spot inspections to verify empty/loaded weights of trailers and maintain a running log

EXPERIENCE

A high school diploma along with a Wheel End and Air Brake certification is required. If you've worked as a Field Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic, your' Trex Material for sure. Have experience performing Federal DOT inspections? You'll fit in just fine.
