Description

Skyworksis looking for a motivated and detail oriented Project Manager to join our Digital Transformation team in Newbury Park, CA.

As Project Manager for our Digital Transformation Initiatives, you'll be working on the global deployment of a broad range of automation solutions to transform how our Wafer Fabs operate. You'll be interacting with cross functional teams in all areas of our wafer fabrication including Operations, Finance, IT, and Engineering. In this position, you'll help drive high-impact automation projects that improve efficiency, enhance productivity, improve yield and quality, and shape what a Skyworks smart factory looks like. To be successful in this position you'll need to couple a passion for technology and continuous improvement with the ability to lead, manage, and communicate to all levels of associates in a team environment. You'll need to employ strong problem solving skills to remove roadblocks and execute to the vision, while also leveraging excellent organizational, project management, and people skills to deploy the project on time and cohesively across our fabs.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.

Monitor project progress and address issues to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.

Coordinate resources and stakeholders.

Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to key stakeholders.

Help maintain annual capex and opex budget.

Work with site champions to establish deployment strategy and best practices.

Work closely with local deployment teams to ensure uniform deployment across four sites.

.Required Experience and Skills

BS in Engineering or related science.

Four to five years related experience in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, experience in Semiconductor Industry preferred.

Exemplary communication skills (verbal, interpersonal, written).

Excellent Project Management, problem solving and analytical skill.

Must be a strong team player, detail oriented, and perform well under pressure.




The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD$76,100 -$138,900 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others. Employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan, and certain roles are also eligible for additional awards, including recognition and stock. These incentives and awards are based on individual and/or company performance.
