THE JOB:
As an Exterior Landscaper, you will be responsible for performing the day to day operations of the property to ensure that all areas are esthetically pleasing. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest's experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their time with us.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Plant new flowers, shrubs, and trees in designated areas. Transplant existing plants as needed for
• Apply appropriate fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth. Regularly water plants to maintain optimal moisture levels.
• Prune overgrown branches and remove dead or diseased parts. Weed flower beds and plant areas to keep them tidy.
• Use pesticides, herbicides, and other chemicals as necessary for pest control and weed management.
• Follow best practices for maintaining annuals, turf, trees, and shrubs. Monitor plant health by checking soil quality, fertilizer levels, moisture, and overall appearance.
• Inspect work areas daily to identify safety hazards. Ensure the landscape adheres to appearance standards.
• Properly handle tools like rakes, loppers, hand saws, pruning shears, shovels, hoes, and fertilizer spreaders.
• Drive company vehicles or specialized carts between properties. Transport materials and equipment. Unload and inspect inventory upon receipt.
• Use specialized power tools and motorized equipment: Blowers, Hedge trimmers, Light tractors, Lawn mowers, Lawn edgers, Chainsaws, Aerial lifts, Forklifts, Turf aerators, Rototillers.
• Clear snow from driveways, walkways, and parking lots using snowplows. Ensure safe passage during winter weather conditions.
• Be prepared to spend most of your shift outdoors, regardless of weather conditions.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• At least 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Has at least 1 year experience as a landscaper.
• Has working knowledge of landscaping equipment.
• A self-starter
