Our Cloud team inside Seagate's Marketing organization is dedicated to understanding and serving the world's largest Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) such as Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Alibaba, and Baidu. We collaborate closely with the top-tier CSPs, driving innovations and strategies that influence both their success and ours. About the role - you will:

As a Cloud Marketing Specialist, you will be at the heart of our efforts to understand and serve our most significant customers. In this exciting role, you will:



  • Analyze Customer Data: Delve into data related to our CSP customers to gain insights into their business models, financials, market trends, and strategic directions.
  • Develop Customer consumption models: Expand on market models to improve portfolio transition timing and profitability.
  • Understand Demand Drivers: Explore how our customers' growth and purchasing patterns affect their demand for our hard disk drives.
  • Automate Data Analysis Processes: Develop and implement automation for regularly performed data analysis processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure Data Integrity: Conduct data validation by gathering inputs beyond procurement and technical resources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Support Strategic Decisions: Provide valuable insights that help management answer key questions and make informed strategic decisions.
  • Visualize and Communicate Insights: Use cutting-edge analytic tools to create compelling visualizations and narratives, effectively communicating complex data across the company.


About you:

  • Storytelling Ability: Excellent communication skills to translate complex data into engaging and understandable narratives. Adept at creating PowerPoint presentations to tell your story.
  • Passion for Technology: Enthusiastic about the cloud services market and eager to learn about data storage solutions.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Team player with the ability to work effectively across different teams and departments.

Your experience includes:

  • Analytical Skills: Provenknowledge of analytic techniques and experience with tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, or similar.
  • Data Automation Experience: Familiarity with automating data analysis processes to improve efficiency.
  • Data Visualization: Ability to create insightful and impactful visual representations of data.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.



You might also have:



  • Experience with analytics automation tools such as Alteryx, Power Query, JMP
  • Proficiency with programming languages such as Python or R and associated libraries for data analytics and visualization.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $68,473- $97,904. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Seagate offers comprehensive benefits to its eligible employees, including, but not limited to, , eligibility to participate in discretionary bonus program, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, short-and long-term disability, 401(k), employee stock purchase plan, health savings account, dependent care, and healthcare spending accounts. Seagate also offers paid time off, including 12 holidays, flexible time off provided pursuant to Seagate policy, a minimum of 48 hours of paid sick leave, and 16 weeks of paid parental leave. The benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year and may differ depending on work location.
