Location: Stephenson Cancer Center at Norman Regional Shift Available: Full-Time (40 hours/week) Monday-Friday 8a-5p The Stephenson Cancer Center at Norman Regional Chemotherapy Infusion Center at is an adult outpatient facility in Norman with 12 patient treatment bays, treating roughly 40 patients daily with Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, blood transfusions and iron products each day. We will be expanding to 24 treatment bays with the opening of the brand-new cancer center on the west side of Norman in June of 2025. This is a fast-paced, team-centered environment that requires great communication skills and the ability to multitask. Our department orientation includes one-on-one precepting and becoming ONS certified to be able to administer Chemotherapy, so we welcome candidates who are willing to learn a new specialty. The Certified Medical Assistant II works alongside Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers to provide direct patient care according to state and federal guidelines. This position plays an important role in the ambulatory setting by not only performing clinical and administrative duties but also helping patients feel at ease and understanding provider instructions. Minimum Requirements Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program preferred. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Patient Care as a Medical Assistant or similar patient care role required. License/Certification/Registration: Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification required upon hire. Additionally, one of the following certifications are required upon hire:
