We are hiring for Telephone Operator to support our East Center located in Portland, OR. While experience working on a switchboard or in a previous receptionist or administrative role would be great, the most important quality to have is a desire to take care of our patients and provide the best customer service you can. We do important work here at Compass, and we would love for you to be part of our team. Scope: Under direct supervision, is responsible for providing a full range of telephone switchboard duties, including triaging calls and relaying messages. Assists with clerical duties as required. Serves as a liaison between patients and medical staff. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Employment Type: Full-Time, 40 Hours M-F Location: East Cancer Center (Portland, OR); 5050 NE Hoyt Street Suite 256, Portland, OR 97213 Salary Range: $16.00-$23.02 Per Hour **Final offer amounts are determined by a review of the candidate's applicable experience and qualifications, as well as, internal employee equity considerations Responsibilities -Courteously and efficiently answers all incoming calls and connects callers with the correct extension. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience/Training: Position is entry level and requires (0-3) years of related experience, preferably in a medical setting.
