Essential Functions:



  • Event Coordination: Plan and manage details for various events and meetings, including Senior Management Updates, Annual Meeting of the Membership, management meetings, board sessions, financial education events, President's Council, Co-op Connection, executive office events, wellness events, CEO-hosted events, and recognition events.
  • Support: Assist the Event Coordinator with meetings held by outside groups, Shredfest, President's Council logistics, blood drives, senior management events, project celebrations, annual milestone celebrations, financial education events, wellness events, and hosting credit unions or other groups.
  • Communications Lead: Develop and manage communication plans for internal projects, write and edit communications, and ensure clear and timely messaging.
  • Budget Management: Oversee budgets for select events, coordinate with budget managers and Accounting for accurate tracking and reconciliation.
  • Internal Communications: Support internal communications by creating timelines, messaging, materials, and educational tools for events and wellness. Provide backup for Summit Share message disbursement.


Job Specifications:



  • 5+ years of event planning and coordination for mid-to-large organizations. CMP designation preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or Public Policy or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of common PC applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality, including tact and diplomacy.
  • Professional, well-developed written and oral communication skills essential for interacting with credit union staff and members. This includes speaking and group presentation skills, as well as effective writing and editing skills, including grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to successfully manage multiple projects.
  • Must consistently demonstrate high attention to detail and ability to handle large amounts of information with accuracy.
  • Must have driver's license.

Environmental/Working Conditions: Works in a typical administrative setting with climate control and appropriate lighting. Travel to branches requires exposure to outdoor and traffic conditions.
