Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain customer contact on a regular basis.
- Support sales personnel on sales needs.
- Read and interpret specifications to provide quotes.
- Participate to the fullest extent possible in the development of customer quotes.
- Make sure customer is receiving goods and services in a timely fashion.
- Maintain close relationship with customers, sales staff, service staff, and Branch Manager.
- Identify and report decision makers to sales team.
- Maintain sufficient knowledge of entire WPI products/services offerings to ensure high probability that opportunities are identified and secured and/or opportunities are passed on to the appropriate WPI team member or management.
- Report all sales leads to the appropriate management and sales teams.
- Promote positive and professional relationships with all company personnel and between its' divisions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 2 year(s) previous experience or college equivalent.
- High School Diploma or GED, Bachelor's Degree (or higher), or experience of equal value in applied discipline preferred.
- Sales or customer service experience in standby generation field preferred.

- Must have a working knowledge of the above titled position and how it relates to the overall business and its' objectives.
- Must meet goals and objectives set forth by the company.
- Must conform to company policies and procedures set forth by the company.
- Must protect the company assets and interest.
- Must comply with Federal Motor Carrier Administration rules and regulations (only if job requires.
- Must have current driver's license and proof of insurance. (ONLY IF JOB REQUIRES)
- Must have dependable transportation. (ONLY IF JOB REQUIRES)
- Must be a self-starter and highly motivated.
- Must have the ability to work flexible hours, days, and weekends (AS NECESSARY).
- Must be computer literate, a Windows based environment preferred (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Outlook).
- Must be dependable and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must maintain good client relations and a professional appearance.
- Must promote and maintain a clean, neat and safe work environment.
- Must have the ability to travel and stay overnight.
- Must have the ability to effectively motivate, supervise and evaluate others.
- Must accurately follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must meet minimum performance standards for all assignments.
- Must observe all safety rules and regulations.
Working Conditions:
- Typical hours of work Monday through Friday; 8m. to 5 p.m.
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends (as necessary).
- Sitting; occasional bending or kneeling; lift and carry a maximum of 10 - 50 Lbs., reach overhead for light weight items.
- Office and outdoor work.
- Some temporary adjustments to starting and quitting time as work load requires.
