Job Summary

McKee Foods is seeking a Packaging Technician to join our team at our Gentry, AR location. This position will report to the Production Supervisor. As a Production Trainee, you will play an important role on our high-speed production line, ensuring the efficient and precise packaging of our snack cakes. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the packaging and inspection of finished food products that may include:
    • Packaging unwrapped snack cakes into individual wrapping
    • Placing wrapped snack cakes into cartons
    • Filling cases with cartons of snack cakes
    • Arranging cases onto pallets for shipment, following specific stacking patterns
  • Monitoring production processes to meet quality and productivity targets
  • Collaborating with team members to maintain a smooth workflow and troubleshoot any issues that arise
  • Following production schedules and meeting production quotas
  • Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work area
