Requisition Summary PACCAR Corporate Emission Compliance team is looking for an Emissions Compliance Program Specialist. This role is responsible to establish Product Creation Process (PCP), support Certification and Compliance team to keep the tasks UpToDate. This role also involves interaction throughout the PACCAR organization including development and engineering teams. The successful candidate will be involved in keeping close follow up and monitoring the certification and Compliance tasks on constant basis. Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Establish Product Creation Process (PCP) for Vehicle and Powertrain Certification.
- Act as PCP Specialist.
- Collaborate with other PCP project leaders.
- Develop material for tollgate go/no go decisions for emission compliance.
- Ensure the emission compliance tasks in PCP completed on time for vehicle and powertrain for all programs.
- Support on emission compliance reports submission.
- Compile weekly and monthly updates.
- Ensure all the databases, links, operating systems are up to date.
- Perform the periodic verification / audits of data.
- Work closely with Peterbilt, Kenworth, GHG, Tech Center, ITD program team for tasks execution.
- Update cross-functional teams with compliance reports.
- Develop processes to stay within compliance of ongoing tasks.
- Perform data analysis and generate conclusions for stakeholders.
- Provide support to overall Certification and Compliance department.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 5years of experience working in the project / program management area.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, and manage multiple priorities.
- Self-starter who effectively works under limited supervision.
- Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Self-directed and detail oriented.
- Ability to perform all assigned tasks from start to finish on schedule and with minimal instruction.
- Ability to focus on more than one task at a time and the ability to shift back and forth between tasks.
- Basic understanding of program management.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and influence others.
- Ability to work within deadlines to achieve goals.
