Software Development Engineer

Join our Product Security Team: we are looking for a Software Engineer, to develop and maintain software to improve Incident Response's time and quality, to enhance Incident Response Analysts' productivity, and to drive PSIRT's incident reporting abilities to the next level.

Role

• Full Stack developer Django/Nuxt:
  
  
  
  • Help analysts by developing dedicated tools to increase the productivity
  • Maintain PSIRT's Incident Management System.
  • Based on user feedback, management decisions, and experience, implement new features (automation, GUI, security) in PSIRT's Incident Management System.
  
  

Skills:

• Knowledge of Python, Web Framework, JavaScript, SQL, Linux development environment, versioning tool and Docker required.
• Must be a team player, able to understand the requirements of the system's users, and to work in an agile and flexible way.
• Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)

The Candidate Profile

Experience:

• Previous experience in Web development with frameworks needed.
• Experience with Django a big plus.
• Experience with VUE (Nuxt) is a big plus
• Experience in security is a plus

Education:

BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Master Degree in Computer Science preferred.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000-$145,000. Fortinet offers employees a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), 11 paid holidays, vacation time, and sick time as well as a comprehensive leave program.

Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program, Bonus eligibility is reviewed at time of hire and annually at the Company's discretion.
