Machinery Field Service Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Maintain line of communications with internal and external Customers.
  • Responsibility for both Piscataway & Bensalem Field Service.
  • Take service calls for Field repairs.
  • Answer cell phone calls. (Internal/External)
  • Write up service calls with all pertinent information.
  • Ensure the satisfaction of our customer base on any work performed, both internally and externally.
  • Efficiently dispatch Field Service Technicians and parts to job sites.
  • Maintain schedule for Field Technicians jobs.
  • Monitor GPS Software on service trucks.
  • Performance reviews for Field Technicians per calendar year.
  • Schedule incoming machine repairs with Shop.
  • Review 10-day last labor work order sheets.
  • Attend monthly Field Service Technician, Staff and Foreperson meetings.
  • Adhere to all company policies, to include all safety policies.

RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 8-10 years' experience in the heavy equipment industry with progressive maintenance/repair supervisory experience and/or equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; both verbal and written.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and other position related software.
