The Warranty Claims Lead will manage incoming warranty claims from initial request to resolution in an efficient, timely, cost-effective manner to assist consumers, customers, contractors, and the sales team with all warranty issues.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is responsible for developing, leading, and executing in the following areas:

  • Receive phone calls and assist customers, homeowners, sales team, contractors and dealers with various window questions and warranty claims
  • Initiate clarification calls to customers, as required, for assigned claims
  • Maintain contact and claim information in CRM for all assigned claims
  • Scheduling activities for Simonton specialists and sub-contractors (optimizing cost and efficiency)
  • Host product standard and compliance discussions with customers and homeowners
  • Monitor performance on all assigned claims and resolve utilizing most cost-effective solution available
  • Manage all assigned claims in an effort to increase customer satisfaction and decrease lead times for completion
  • Administer Service reimbursements on assigned claims
  • Research to identify root cause, lead / participate in long-term solutions
  • Participate in discussions with Operations, Quality, IT, and Sales to resolve issues
  • Prepare communications to management
  • Other duties as required
Qualifications
  • 4-year degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience in a service role within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in Manufacturing Information Systems is desired
  • Experience with CRM systems is desired
