DESCRIPTIONUnder direct supervision, acquires skills and knowledge of professional concepts in acquisition and research data analysis of confocal microscopy and super-resolution imaging datasets. Works on small projects or segments of projects with limited scope and complexity. Will routinely perform quality control of imaging datasets, deconvolution, segmentation, and spatial analysis. Help establish a pipeline for rigorous analysis of STED datasets. Perform RNA sequencing experiments and downstream analysis. Perform a range of wet lab techniques including RNA in situ hybridization and immunostaining. Will be expected to help with shared lab duties including animal colony management, ordering, chemical inventory, etc. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $55,374 - $66,064 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $26.52 - $31.64 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
