ORC is seeking a full-time, exempt CorporateRecruiter to work out of our corporate office in Charlotte, NC. The selected candidate will have the flexibility to work from their home office but must be able to report to the office as requested.

What you will be doing:

As a Corporate Recruiter, you will collaborate with the Human Resources Manager and project management teams to anticipate and address the organization's evolving needs and recommending innovative ideas and solutions to finding diverse talent. You will manage the full recruitment cycle to identify and secure top talent for all levels of candidates from entry-level to experienced Directors. This involves direct sourcing from various platforms such as social media, job boards, and niche sites, creating and conducting candidate assessments, managing interviews, negotiating offers, and facilitating hires. Utilizingapplicant tracking system to maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment and applicant files and proper disposition of candidates while developing, maintaining, and updating ATS with potential candidates. ORC expects you to build and maintain relationships with potential candidates and manage ongoing relationships with hiring managers.

Minimum Requirements:



  • Minimum two(2) years of full life cycle recruiting experience
  • Prior experience working with HR databases and Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably Deltek Talent Management
  • Must be experienced recruiting all levels of internal candidates starting from entry-level to experienced executives
  • Prior direct sourcing experience within LinkedIn and Indeed
  • Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, and Dropbox
  • Must have an iOS or Android smartphone to be able to access ORC's systems
  • English language proficient
  • Valid Driver's License



Bonus points if you have anUnderstanding of Office of Federal Contract Compliance Program (OFCCP) compliance and monitoring requirements andReal Estate and/or Right of Way knowledge

Employees must avoid any relationship or activity that might impair, or even appear to impair, their ability to make objective and fair decisions when performing their jobs. To avoid conflicts of interest, employees are prohibited from performing any services for clients or perceived clients during nonworking time that are normally performed by ORC, including the sale of real estate.

Physical Requirements: English language proficient. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to clearly communicate and exchange information in person, via phone and email. Substantial repetitive movements of the wrists, hands and/or fingers due to high amounts of computer usage and typing. Expected to spend long spans of time in front of a computer screen. Able to read, understand and interpret department related documents and data. This is a largely sedentary role; however, the employee occasionally is required to move about inside the office to access files, office equipment and to interact with other members of the staff. This employee is required to occasionally travel to government buildings which involves time driving; sometimes for long durations.
