Timmons Group is currently seeking a CADD Manager to join ourShared Services Group located in ourRichmond, Virginiaoffice location. TimmonsGroup CADD Manager oversees all Civil 3D and design operations. This position is responsible for providing our Civil 3D user's unrivaled classroom training and working one on one with users to increase their knowledge, skills, and efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and teach Civil 3D classes for both new and experienced users.
  • Work with users one on one to trouble shoot, as well as increase their knowledge and efficiency in Civil 3D.
  • Advise and assist Civil 3D users with most efficient process and methods.
  • Works with IT on managing hardware and software licensing.
  • Provide technical support for Civil 3D users.
  • Identify and implement cost savings initiatives for Civil 3D systems.
  • Develop and implement Civil 3D Standards.
  • Collaborate with designers/drafters, design engineers, and IT to promote integration, facilitate communications and resolve critical issues.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities to make Civil 3D production processes more efficient.
  • Emphasize continuous quality improvement; monitor drawings and filing standards and implement quality control programs.
  • Establish Civil 3D performance goals that support division and project objectives

Skills/Requirements of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering a plus.
  • 5 years of CADD/Civil 3D training required.
  • Unrivaled client service skills.
  • Expert AutoCAD/Civil 3D. Microstation a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, facilitation and organizational skills
