Director, Patient Experience Specialty Pharmacy Operations

We are seeking an experienced collaborator with a solid understanding of patient experience program service solutions and specialty pharmacy operations. The Patient Experience Specialty Pharmacy ("PX SP") Operations Lead is the primary point of contact, representing the PX team, with GSK's distribution network SPs. This function is accountable for effective team collaboration with other GSK Market Access functions, such as our Channel Account and Trade and Distribution teams.

The PX SP Director will build and maintain a recurring communication structure across the Specialty Pharmacy contacts aligned to GSK ("SP Liaison"). This role is focused on ensuring compliant and timely response to relevant stakeholders while supporting follow-up on consented patient's case status, case escalations, or general program/process inquiries related to GSK medicines. This role reports to the Senior Director, Patient Experience and Reimbursement within the US Market Access team.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Build and deliver training materials for SP Liaisons to educate on GSK PX programs and patient service offerings such as the GSK Commercial Copay Programs.
  • Maintain efficient and structured communication with SP Liaisons, with the ability to identify needs for ad-hoc communication points.
  • Facilitate collaborative access solutions across multiple stakeholders including, field-based Access and Reimbursement Managers/Directors, SP Liaison, Patient Experience Operations and Hub partners.
  • Support Market Access Strategy and PX Strategy teams with launch design for new product assets, including onboarding of new SP partners, if applicable.
  • Partner with Market Access Data and Analytics team to build and maintain compliant dashboards and reports to monitor key patient journey access milestones such prescription fulfilment status, pending prior authorizations, and appropriate referrals for commercial copay assistance.
  • Ability to independently recognize gaps and compliantly problem solve.
  • Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure business rules and 'ways of working' policies are kept up to date and when changes are implemented, oversee training and roll-out of new policies.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across Market Access to provide recommendations and insights for relevant design changes in response to market dynamics, government requirements, etc.
  • Remain current on access, reimbursement, and specialty pharmacy trends.
  • Participate in relevant industry conferences and bring learnings back to the Patient Experience Leadership Team.

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant social and health sciences
  • Minimum of five+ years of relevant professional experience in areas of:
  • Market access, patient support, trade and distribution; and/or
  • Specialty Pharmacy operations, SP patient services, Pharmacy Management and/or dispensing Pharmacist working in a Specialty Pharmacy
