Position Purpose:

Stericycle has a challenging career opportunity available at the Corporate HQ in Bannockburn, IL for a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to support the company's Business Unit finance team. Reporting to the Sr. Manager FP&A, this role will provide planning, forecasting and month end support for on-going operations as well as support AdHoc analysis and projects.

This position will require you to work a hybrid work schedule, reporting to our Bannockburn, IL office and the ability to work from home.

Key Job Activities:
  • Responsible for providing financial insight and decision-making support to sales leadership and senior management through quarterly forecasting, financial analysis, long-range plans, and the annual budget.
  • Performs financial analysis of sales results, including trends and comparisons to historical, budgeted, and forecasted results. Communicates results to management in the form of standard and ad hoc reports. Partners with and supports business leaders to ensure all parties in the decision-making process are well informed.
  • Leads the quarterly forecast process and yearly budget process. Obtains inputs/data from various business partners, challenges inputs when necessary, identifies variances from expectations and provides a summary of issues to senior management.
Experience:
  • Education equivalent to Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required. Possession of a Master's degree in finance or Business Administration preferred.
  • Experience working in a Commercial or Sales finance organization is a plus.
  • Organization and ability to manage priorities.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial roles or equivalent.
  • Demonstrates experience working cross functionally with other teams, sales and marketing is a plus.
  • Ability to effectively communicate financial results and the impact of proposed business decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications; advanced knowledge of Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Experience in SAP is a plus.
