**This is a remote role with a hybrid option, there will be travel between our facilities as needed to support essential duties.**
The Vendor Management Facilitator is responsible for the daily on-site management and oversight of vendors providing medical supplies/implants, medical equipment, pharmaceuticals and designated non-medical supplies/services. This role requires maintaining cross-functional relationships with both clinical and non-clinical ancillary support departments to ensure vendor compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards while fostering cross-functional relationships with clinical and non-clinical departments. The Vendor Management Facilitator will play a critical role in upholding the hospital's commitment to service excellence, quality, regulatory adherence, and supplier diversity. Patient Population Not applicable to this position. Employment Qualifications Required Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field. Combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Preferred Education: Master's degree in supply chain, business, or related field Licensure/Certification Required:N/A Licensure/Certification Preferred:N/A Minimum Qualifications Years and Type of Required Experience 2 years' prior experience with high-volume customer service interactions in supply chain or related field. Strong knowledge regarding vendor compliance, related policies and procedures. Competence to promote and maintain accountability regarding best practices. Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office suite Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Cultural Responsiveness Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias. Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: Healthcare supply chain experience preferred. Working Conditions Periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads may occur.
