Vendor Management Facilitator

**This is a remote role with a hybrid option, there will be travel between our facilities as needed to support essential duties.**

The Vendor Management Facilitator is responsible for the daily on-site management and oversight of vendors providing medical supplies/implants, medical equipment, pharmaceuticals and designated non-medical supplies/services. This role requires maintaining cross-functional relationships with both clinical and non-clinical ancillary support departments to ensure vendor compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards while fostering cross-functional relationships with clinical and non-clinical departments.

The Vendor Management Facilitator will play a critical role in upholding the hospital's commitment to service excellence, quality, regulatory adherence, and supplier diversity.

Essential Job Statements

  • Oversee daily vendor activities on-site, ensuring adherence to the organization's vendor visitation policy, value analysis policy, and compliance with Joint Commission, DNV, and FDA regulations.

  • Work closely with clinical and non-clinical departments to facilitate vendor access and support operational needs.

  • Ensure all vendors meet the necessary compliance standards, including those set by the Joint Commission, DNV, and the FDA.

  • Facilitate compliance with Joint Commission and DNV requirements for patient care contracts.

  • Maintain and manage organizational vendor management technology systems (i.e. vendor credentialing, visitation, performance management and supplier diversity).

  • Ensure vendors service the organization in alignment with the organizational source-to-pay process in collaboration with supply chain and finance departments to ensure efficient and compliant procurement practices.

  • Establish and maintain vendor program compliance and performance reporting for internal and external stakeholder groups.

  • Act as the primary liaison between vendors and internal departments, facilitating clear communication and addressing any concerns or inquiries.

  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Director of Supplier Diversity regarding vendor performance and compliance.

  • Actively support and promote the Supplier Diversity Program by working directly with prime and diverse suppliers to enhance the organization's commitment to inclusive procurement practices.

  • Ensure responsibility and visible commitment of diversity equity and inclusion programs/initiatives through collaboration and implementation of initiatives across the health

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field.

Combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Master's degree in supply chain, business, or related field

Minimum Qualifications

Years and Type of Required Experience

2 years' prior experience with high-volume customer service interactions in supply chain or related field.

Strong knowledge regarding vendor compliance, related policies and procedures.

Competence to promote and maintain accountability regarding best practices.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office suite Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Healthcare supply chain experience preferred.
