Title: Senior Environmental Planner/Program Manager Location: Tacoma, Seattle or Portland (remote) Job Type: Full time What's the Opportunity? To act as a key member of project teams, by leading the development and implementation of planning and permitting strategies related to watershed planning, infrastructure siting, and redevelopment. In this role, you will oversee project teams in the execution of permitting strategies and the development of technical studies and reports, environmental assessments, and environmental impact statements. This role also includes acting as the primary interface with clients, agencies, and other consultant teams and includes opportunities for continued career advancement. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive environmental compliance strategies related to obtaining applicable local, state, and federal regulatory approvals, including for complex or controversial projects; lead environmental review efforts, such as environmental impact statements required by the Washington State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) or the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA); serve as project manager, including fostering client relationships, negotiating contracts, and overseeing large teams; able to conduct agency negotiations and facilitate stakeholder groups and public meetings.
