Maintenance Quality Assurance Analyst (Remote)

We're hiring a Remote Maintenance Quality Assurance Analyst.

  • $100,000-110,000 annualized starting compensation range

Position Summary: The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and airworthiness of the fleet through the maintenance and oversight of aircraft and part maintenance programs. This includes performing inspections, audits, and assessments, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company standards, and manufacturer specifications. The role also includes maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic record keeping systems related to maintenance programs and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department.

  • Ensure all electronic technical records for the fleet and maintenance programs are complete, accurate, and retained in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct regular internal audits of maintenance tracking system to ensure adherence to both company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining a system for tracking and resolving non-conformance issues related to maintenance practices, components, and documentation.
  • Ensure that all aircraft maintenance systems are compliant with airworthiness directives (ADs), service bulletins (SBs), and other regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory reports and maintenance documentation to authorities as required.
  • Keep abreast of changes in regulations, industry standards, and new technologies to maintain an up-to-date knowledge base.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and compliance within the organization by providing training, guidance, and feedback to maintenance staff.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of aircraft maintenance records and ensure that all required documentation is properly organized, archived, and/or electronically captured.
  • Audit maintenance logs, work orders, inspections, and service reports for accuracy and compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Liaison for monitoring and reporting of RAMCO activities.
  • Analyze departmental requirements for user specific training and report to management team and maintenance trainer.
  • Work with management team and oversee system use to ensure existing processes capture the necessary history for accounting audits, based off the business model and or FAA regulations.
  • Author and oversee changes to the aircraft maintenance and component maintenance programs at the part and model level.
  • Comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Report known or perceived hazards or safety concerns to a member of management.
  • Participate in special projects for the department as required

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 to 10 years related experience, Airbus helicopter experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills to include word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiar with tracking, accounting, auditing procedures and efficient office systems.
  • General and/or Commercial aviation industry and systems knowledge strongly required.
  • A&P License, IA preferred
  • Strong RAMCO background

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to do the following:

  • Performs activities requiring a moderate amount of standing, sitting, bending, walking, and mobility in and about the facility as well as other sites; speaking and listening; frequently using hands to key and check data and information. Requires close and distant visual capabilities.
  • Capable of lifting 20 pounds floor to bench height.

Environmental Conditions:

  • Entails exposure to the following environmental conditions:
  • Constant exposure to routine office noises (i.e., office machines, conversations, foot traffic), moderate electrical or mechanical hazards.
  • Some (less than 1/3rd) exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, airborne particles, risk of electrical shock.
