We have an opportunity for a Technical Product Trainer to join our North American Training team for our highly successful Pool and Spa Business Unit. Pentair Pool is a market leader in pool and spa equipment, offering an innovative product portfolio that includes pumps, smart technology systems, heating solutions, cleaners, filters, lights, and more! As education is recognized as a critical component to our business's success, you will play a pivotal role in teaching our customers how our products work, how to install them, as well as how to troubleshoot, service, and maintain the products.

** We are currently hiring Technical Trainers in Florida and Texas, including Tampa, FL; Naples, FL; Orlando, FL; San Antonio, TX; Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; and/or Houston, TX. To be considered, you must live within a reasonable driving distance of one of these locations. When not travelling for work, you can work from home. ** #LI-Remote

You will:

  • Deliver world-class training courses that radically advance our customer's understanding of the Pentair Pool product, technology, and brand.
  • Develop, produce, and present training courses, materials, and hands-on training experiences to include installation, servicing and troubleshooting topics to large audiences ranging from 25-100+ people.
  • Partner with product management, sales, marketing, customer support, and engineering teams from across Pentair Pool to develop and execute training content.
  • Maintain, prepare, and make continuous improvements to the classroom setup including the care for equipment and other tools.
  • Ensure alignment, consistency, and brand message by collaborating across the training team and sharing materials and planning documentation.
  • Make field visits as required to help assist with product issues, customer issues and/or to support training development needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Have earned a high school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Have 2+ years of technical training experience related to electro-mechanical or engineered products OR equivalent experience in the pool industry creating and delivering technical product training to other pool professionals.
  • Experience in curriculum creation, online platforms, and an understanding of adult education and delivery methods preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and oral).
  • Possess a strong positive attitude, emphasizing a transformative approach to challenges.
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Travel:

  • Up to 60% overnight travel to lead technical trainings, attend conferences and events, meet with leadership teams, customers, and/or other stakeholders. Expect heavier travel during the Pool training season of August through April.
