Position Summary:

The Director of Outpatient Services is responsible for operations, clinical oversight and marketing of the Outpatient service line. This includes programs and personnel development; management; evaluation; coordination and integration of hospital services; budget and cost control; census development and maintenance. Responsibilities also include oversight/maintenance of Policies and Procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manages the day-to-day operations of Outpatient Services, to primarily include clinic and outpatient group therapy.
• Ensures high quality of clinical care is maintained in all outpatient programs and exceeds regulatory agency quality requirements.
• Maintains and facilitates relationships with all shareholders for outpatient programs to include therapists, physicians, nurses, and referral sources.
• Develops policies and procedures for OP services, which ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality care.
• Provides direct clinical supervision to staff that results in a high quality of care and compliance with record keeping requirements.
• Promotes the success of the clinic through fostering and maintaining relationship with referral sources.
• Makes clinical decisions in the context of program goals and philosophy.
• Run the staff and treatment team meetings

In addition to the primary responsibilties listed above, the candidate may be expected to perform additional duties as needed to support the team and facility goals.

• Master's Degree in Social Work, or related Program, or PhD. in Psychology from an accredited college or University.
• Current State Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Psychologist or RN
• Three years of psych experience preferable in a community health setting.
• Minimum of two years as a clinical supervisor or program manager preferred.
