What You Will Do: As a Senior IT/OT Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play an essential role within our I.T. department, reporting to the Manager of Security Operations. Under minimal supervision, the Senior IT/OT Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for providing hands-on technical solutions to complex and detailed information security problems. The Senior IT/OT Cybersecurity Analyst employs recognized software and systems in maintaining a robust and effective security posture. This position coordinates security efforts with IT and OT, its customers, vendors, and business resources to resolve complex technical issues and ensures overall system and data security. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Work with key stakeholders, various vendors, and IT and OT management to understand business and systems requirements.
- Acts as point of escalation for significant security events
- Provides technical assistance, design, installation, operation, service, and maintenance of a variety of information security systems.
- Assist and cross-train System Administrators as needed in implementation of security recommendations of systems.
- Ensures and assists with the proper deployment and management of solutions that support information security including virus/malware detection, intrusion detection and prevention systems, firewalls, data loss prevention systems, security information and event systems and a wide range of other cybersecurity solutions.
- Recommend and design security solutions to meet business requirements.
- Design, implement, and monitor security controls.
- Supervise the activities of on-site vendors or technicians.
- Conduct daily security monitoring activities.
- Prepare technical reports and instructional manuals.
- Keep current on emerging security related technologies.
- Coordinate small to medium size projects.
- Assist with vulnerability management program.
- Advise on best practices for Cybersecurity.
- Assist with both red and blue team activities.
What You Will Bring: Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution. Equivalent work experience and/or certification will be considered as replacement for this requirement.
- At least 3 years of recent professional experience in a Systems and/or Network Administration roles
- 2 or more years professional experience with current security protocols, hardware, software, and operating systems
- Previous experience with network infrastructure design and TCP/IP networking, router and switch configuration, enterprise class firewalls - Cisco preferred.
- Experience with 2 or more of the following security systems / tools:
- IDS/IPS
- SIEM
- Network Access Control
- Experience with the administration of the following systems and software:
- Relational database (Oracle, SQL Server,etc.) concepts including the use of SQL
- Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM)
- Linux Operating System
- Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems
- Network analysis tools (Wireshark, Nmap, etc)
- Strong working knowledge of:
- IT and OT Operations practices
- IT and OT Security best practices
- IT and OT Risk Management processes and principles
- IT and OT Vulnerability Management processes
- Cybersecurity related threats and vulnerabilities
- Incident Response methodologies
- Network security methodologies.
- Ability to:
- Recognize network attacks and data breaches, or other cyber related anomalies.
- Identify systemic security issues.
- Provide in-depth analysis of:
- Policies, processes, and procedures
- Vulnerabilities
- Threats
- Network Designs
- Architectural Designs
- Monitor and respond to system issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Lead and make recommendations regarding configuration management.
- Translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Must Possess Excellent:
- MS-Office skills, including Access, Visio, Project, and SharePoint
- Time management, analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.

- Must possess a valid driver's license and be qualified to operate a vehicle under the conditions of the Safe Driving Policy.
- Ability to pass a background, past employment, credit, drug, and driving record screening.
Preferred skills and qualifications:

- Good working knowledge of various infrastructure technologies, communication protocols, and networking operating systems presently used by ENSTAR. Ability to learn new applications.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as listening skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to provide effective change-management skills with regard to technology upgrades that will effectuate change to support the ENSTAR's goals.
