Hampshire College Department: Institutional Support Services Job Title: Assistant Director of Institutional Support Services for Enrollment Position Type: Full Time Schedule: 35 hours a week Pay Range/ Status: $58,000 / Exempt Location: Hampshire College Campus in Amherst, MA Reports to: Director of Institutional Support Services Anticipated Start Date: January 13, 2025 Hampshire College, an independent, innovative liberal arts institution and member of the Five College consortium, is located on a beautiful rural campus in Amherst, Massachusetts. We provide residential undergraduate education to nearly 900 students. Each department at Hampshire College contributes to the collaborative culture of the organization and plays an important role in the success of the College. The institutional support services team provides technical and logistical support for advancement, admissions, financial aid, and event services. As part of this team, you will ensure that we achieve our enrollment goals. DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting to the director of institutional support services, the assistant director of institutional support services for enrollment is responsible for admissions data and operations management as part of the institutional support services team in the division of institutional support. They serve as a user and administrator for Hampshire's enrollment instance of Technolutions' Slate and manage the application data flow between Slate and Ellucian's Colleague. They provide support for the daily operations of Slate, including investigating and configuring Slate forms, communications, events, interviews, portals, workflows, data imports, automations, queries, and reports. This includes creating and updating weekly reports as required to monitor enrollment goal progress, and building and updating queries and reports for enrollment data analysis as requested. They collaborate with admissions staff to ensure that all files are reviewed, and that decisions and information are delivered to students in a timely fashion. They assist with annual updates and cycle preparation. This role will work with both internal stakeholders including: admissions, financial aid, central records, and IT; and external vendor relationships including: ACT|NRCCUA, CampusReel, College Board, Common Application, SCOIR, and others.
