We have an opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to lead our Pentair Pool sales team in Greater Texas. Pentair Pool is a market leader in pool and spa equipment, including pool filtration systems, pumps, heaters, automation systems, cloud-based connected technology and more. You will lead channel sales development of this critical region by directly managing a team of sales professionals with specified account responsibility and infield sales support. You will develop and execute strategic plans with actionable items in support of business initiatives, focused on driving revenue and share growth.

** This posting is for one position. Candidates will be located anywhere in Texas with easy access to a major airport and the ability to travel around 50% of the time. You will work from home when not travelling. ** #LI-Remote

You will:

  • Lead a team of sales professionals by setting vision and strategy for the team and serving as a role model through coaching and development of direct reports.
  • Develop & execute annual revenue plans, including providing quarterly, semi-annual, and annual formal business reports.
  • Review sales performance of distributors, channel partners, and sales representatives on a regular basis through quarterly, mid-year, and annual business reviews.
  • Meet with sales organization, distributors, dealers, and other customers on a regular basis to develop & maintain strong relationships built on mutual strategies and alignment to product lines and production capability.
  • Collaborate with product management, marketing, customer service, product development, and applications engineering staff (including joint sales calls and consistent communication from the field) to best serve the customer.

Key Qualifications:

  • Have earned a bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.).
  • Have 7+ years of professional sales experience, with at least 3 years in a people leadership role, preferably in the swimming pool or related industries.
  • Demonstrated expertise with managing distribution partners and working with strategic accounts preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to use relevant software programs (e.g., Microsoft Suite, Salesforce CRM, etc.).

Travel:

  • Up to 50% overnight travel to dealers, distributors, events, tradeshows, and/or manufacturing site and functional leadership team meetings. Travel can vary by season.
