4th Shift: 6pm - 6am Fri-Sun

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Support Engineering functions under direction of team engineers.
  • Train on and run various equipment used in repair processes as required to support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Assist in the design, engineering analysis, computer programming, and interpretation of customer requirements and specifications.
  • Data collection and analysis as needed.
  • Disposition of discrepant material to ensure product quality and adherence to program requirements.
  • Provide technical and advisory support to the production area to ensure development of products in the manner that produces a quality process.
  • Help identify, lead, track, and report out on continuous improvement projects in a team environment.


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably Aerospace.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate and develop work instructions, solutions to problems, and reports for all levels of employees, supplier and customer.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Kaizen and Six Sigma helpful.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
