Position Description:
The Project Manager for a Strategic Growth Department isresponsible for leading and executing complex projects that directly contribute to the organization's strategic growth initiatives, often requiring cross-functional collaboration to identify, develop, and implement new business opportunities, while ensuring alignment with overall company goals and objectives;this role involves deep analytical skills, strategic thinking, and strong project management expertise to drive significant business expansion.

Essential Functions:
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and track project(s).
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to execute initiatives.
  • Assists with the development of the content of project proposals, technical reports and white papers, as needed.
  • Assist with slides/presentations, technical reports, meeting management and work group management.
  • Define project scope, timelines, budget, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for each growth project.
  • Manage project execution, ensuring timely delivery of deliverables, risk mitigation, and issue resolution.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify potential opportunities and assess market viability.
  • Display and be able to brief project status as needed.


Additional Responsibilities:

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and five or more related years of experience or a Master's degree and three or more related years of experience.

Minimum of two or more year's direct experience in the operation, planning and performance of collaborative programs and projects.

Project and process management experience, as well as prior experience in proposal planning and preparation, desired.

PMP Certification viewed favorably, but not required.

Experience with government programs desirable.

Experience in managing cross-functional projects with a focus on data-driven decision making.

Independent self-directed worker, team player, problem solver, and experienced leader.

Experience with a CRM required, such as Salesforce, Trilo or Jera.

Strong understanding of business metrics and financial analysis.

Ability to gather, interpret, and synthesize data to inform strategic decisions.

Proven ability to develop and execute long-term growth strategies.

Understanding of project management methodologies and tools to ensure successful project delivery.

Experience working effectively with diverse teams across different departments.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present complex information to stakeholders.

Strong computer skills including MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project desired.

This position will need the ability to access US only data systems - US Citizenship is required and/or must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance (for certain projects/programs).

Ability to travel to conferences and meetings required.
