Technical Associate - FFS Facilities Real Estate

Overview

Responsibilities

• Utilize, maintain and implement software applications (such as, but not limited to, Maximo or MRI Manhattan IWMS) for Facilities & Field Services
• Analyze data and run reports from various systems
• Conduct field inspections of Company properties
• Work with internal organizations (ex: Facilities & Field Services organizations, Information Technology, Engineering, Construction, etc.) and external stakeholders (ex: vendors, contractors)
• Liaison with internal customers to better support their needs to software applications
• Support Real Estate projects (such as Space/Portfolio optimization) and initiatives
• Procure supplies and equipment, as necessary
• Monitors O&M and Capital expenditures to ensure budget guidelines are met
• Perform other related tasks and assignments as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Data Analytics, Information Science, Information Technology, Economics, Engineering and Recent college graduates must have one (1) year of work experience (full-time and/or internships); OR,
• Six (6) months experience considered if participated in the company's CO-OP or summer CO-OP internships

• Proficient in the use of MS Office products including Word, Excel and Power Point, required.
• Adept at using the internet for communication and research, required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, required.
• A commitment to customer service, required.
• Must demonstrate a positive work ethic in support of the Companys Corporate Values and Mission, required.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with various levels of management, union personnel, internal and external customers as well as vendors and outside agencies, required.
• Must be well organized, detail oriented and flexible to handle multiple assignments, required
• Must also have a demonstrated ability to accept challenges and use creative thinking to analyze data and recommend solutions, required.
• Must exercise good judgment and render sound decisions, required.
• Knowledge of work management/asset management systems a plus.
• Ability to perform data analytics to determine some meaning through data, required.

• Driver's License Required

• Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
• Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed
• Must be able to participate in the Companys emergency management processes and storm plans as required.
• Must push, pull, lift up to 25 pounds
• Must sit or stand to answer a phone for entire shift
• Must sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for entire shift
• Must be able to read small print and symbols.
