Requirements

    Currently enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering degree program at an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA)
  • Eligibility to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance
  • MatLab, Python, or C/C++ experience
  • Experience in reviewing and evaluating design calculations and data from an engineering perspective
  • Must be able to read design/construction drawings and be able to understand design narratives and calculations
  • Technical writing skills to be applied in preparing manuals, parts lists, proposals and design documentation
  • Interpersonal skills that augment performance within a team environment
  • Professional communication skills to include interaction with engineering team members and management in informal and formal settings


Description

SRC's Summer Internship Program provides an opportunity for college students to obtain meaningful work experience through on-the-job training assignments.

  • Take an active part in the design, development, integration, and testing of site projects
  • Provide engineering support for technical problems and recommend a course of action
  • Assist senior engineers on complex problems, as assigned
  • Report individual and group project status
  • Develop and present a summer capstone project to division leadership
  • May work across multiple programs in both a team environment and independently to perform their assigned tasks
