The FP&A Financial Analyst role at GuidePoint Security LLC ('GuidePoint') performs analytical and reporting functions for all Company activities to assist management and other key stakeholders in making educated financial decisions. This position will work closely with management to increase GuidePoint's efficiency and profitability by assisting with the planning, budgeting and forecasting processes, monitoring actual results, building insightful dashboards, and performing financial analysis. The FP&A Financial Analyst will be heavily involved in supporting functional areas within the FP&A department.

Role and Responsibilities:



  • Plans and carries out budget procedures for multiple business units including monthly monitoring of department expenditures and revenues; communicating monitoring status to management; reviewing and making recommendations on business unit and department budget proposals; reviewing business unit and department performance measures.
  • Involved in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and KPIs.
  • Analysis of financial and operational results to understand Company performance. Includes monitoring actual results versus planned and identifying and interpreting significant fluctuations.
  • Utilizes BI tools to produce meaningful insights into business performance.
  • Assists with preparing financial packages on a monthly basis, incorporating analysis of actuals against budget, an ongoing rolling forecast model, and performance insight based on data.


Experience Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • 3 or more years of experience in FP&A
  • In-depth knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting experience
  • Excellent communication, analytical and reasoning skills
  • Knowledge of ERP, BI and accounting systems; experience with NetSuite ERP, Salesforce, Adaptive Planning and Domo is highly desirable
  • Experience with Process design and development, system implementation, and systems integration preferred
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Possesses the ability to self-manage and adapt to changes, delays, or unexpected shifts in priorities while maintaining focus and productivity in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in fast paced environments, and ability to manage workload even during times of stress or escalated activity
