What You Drive at DTNA Validation Engineering support of assigned vehicles from onboarding, during validation through to decommissioning Monitor, track and manage vehicle failures, maintenance and updates with a focus on maximizing vehicle uptime On site inspection of vehicles during (AM) shift change, review and follow up on driver comments, investigation of faults/failures and document issue details Contribute to a collaborative work environment that fosters teamwork, trust and mutual respect Interface with multiple teams including, but not limited to; Design and Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Product Validation Engineering Teams, Detroit Powertrain Team, Technicians and warehouse personal Work to existing processes and help develop new processes as needed or assigned Assist Design Engineering to determine root cause of complex problems Knowledge You Should Bring Bachelor's degree in electrical and electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, or related engineering degree required Strong written and oral communication skills An assertive, resilient disposition and a positive attitude Ambition, attention to detail, goal orientation and drive for timely issue resolution Strong interest in both vehicle mechanical and mechatronics systems and integration An active interest in electric vehicles and advanced vehicle technologies Exceptional Candidates Might Have Previous validation experience Customer service experience Knowledge of heavy-duty truck repair & service procedures Exposure to heavy and medium duty products Knowledge of DTNA Engineering systems This position is not eligible for relocation support. #LI-JN2 #LI-Onsite Where We Work This position is open to applicants who can work in (or relocate to) the following location(s)- Portland, OR US.
