We Take Care of Our Team

Position offers a starting salary range of$67,500.00- $86,500.00USD

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTNA

  • Validation Engineering support of assigned vehicles from onboarding, during validation through to decommissioning

  • Monitor, track and manage vehicle failures, maintenance and updates with a focus on maximizing vehicle uptime

  • On site inspection of vehicles during (AM) shift change, review and follow up on driver comments, investigation of faults/failures and document issue details

  • Contribute to a collaborative work environment that fosters teamwork, trust and mutual respect

  • Interface with multiple teams including, but not limited to; Design and Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Product Validation Engineering Teams, Detroit Powertrain Team, Technicians and warehouse personal

  • Work to existing processes and help develop new processes as needed or assigned

  • Assist Design Engineering to determine root cause of complex problems

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical and electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, or related engineering degree required

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • An assertive, resilient disposition and a positive attitude

  • Ambition, attention to detail, goal orientation and drive for timely issue resolution

  • Strong interest in both vehicle mechanical and mechatronics systems and integration

  • An active interest in electric vehicles and advanced vehicle technologies

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

  • Previous validation experience

  • Customer service experience

  • Knowledge of heavy-duty truck repair & service procedures

  • Exposure to heavy and medium duty products

  • Knowledge of DTNA Engineering systems

This position is not eligible for relocation support.
