Position Summary:

The Credit & Collections Administrator position plays a key role in the support, collaboration, and assistance in the day-to-day operations of the credit & collections department.

FLSA: Exempt

Job Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Print daily invoices and mail to customers.
  • Release customer orders as designated by Credit Analysts.
  • Assist with collection calls.
  • Printing monthly customer statements and mailing.
  • Department scanning for manual invoices, credit memos issued.
  • Sending out bank and trade requests.
  • Respond to incoming credit requests.
  • Respond to customer requests for invoices, credit memo copies.
  • Research claims, POD requests.
  • Credit memo offsets to invoices.
  • Special projects, as assigned.


Education/Experience & Skills:



  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Business/Accounting or Finance or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-5 years relevant experience with business to business/manufacturing collections experience.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills and multitasking skills, i.e. customer service.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is essential, specifically Word, Outlook, Excel, and Oracle. Perform well independently and in a team-oriented environment.


Working Conditions:



  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer using a keyboard and mouse performing repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend, and twist, lift and move files.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
  • Must comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements and adhere to SIG SAUER Inc. Security Mandates.
