Thermal Analyst HX5 is an award-winning provider of engineering, research and development, and technical services to clients such as NASA and the Department of Defense. Founded in 2004, HX5 is a fast-growing veteran- and woman-owned company with locations nationwide. HX5 is currently seeking a Thermal Analyst to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio in support of the GEARS contract at NASA Glenn Research Center. Perform thermal analyses supporting the Electrified Powertrain Flight Demonstration (EPFD) Project. Work will encompass aspects of ground and flight tests of electrified aircraft propulsion technologies being designed to enable a new generation of hybrid electric-powered aircraft. Tasks would include support for thermal system assessments and model development for electrified aircraft; including analyzing thermal management technologies, conducting risk reduction testing, and collaborating on design and test reviews between NASA and industry partners. EPFD is a collaboration between NASA and industry to demonstrate the capabilities of electrified aircraft propulsion technologies in reducing emissions for future commercial aircraft in the mid-2030s. Education/Experience: Completed at least a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, from an accredited program, with the following education and experience:
