Job Summary: The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will provide diagnostic and therapeutic health care to patients through assessment, diagnosis, and treatment in collaboration with a designated PHMG physician. This role involves managing patient care from birth to geriatric age, focusing on acute illnesses within the ambulatory care setting. Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Licensure: Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating NLC state. Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber by the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing. Certification by ANCC or AANP for Nurse Practitioners orPhysician Assistant license issued by the state of practice. PA-C certification by the NCCPA. DEA registration or eligibility to obtain. Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an equivalent certification. Education: Master's degree in Nursing for Nurse Practitioners. Bachelor's degree for Physician Assistants. Experience: A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is preferred; new graduates are considered if highly qualified. Additional Requirements: Ability to adjust work schedule with ample notification. Willingness to travel to various clinic sites. Demonstrated ability to work independently within a collaborative practice agreement as directed by Wisconsin state law. Effective teamwork skills within the healthcare environment.
