Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) Manager

As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen AND an active Top Secret or DOE "Q" clearance or the ability to obtain a Top Secret or DOE "Q" clearance to be considered.

We are seeking a dedicated CSSP Manager to lead the Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) program for our government customer. This full-time, on-site role involves strategic vision, operational oversight, and ensuring compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) CSSP requirements.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) Manager: $130,000 to $150,000

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) Manager Responsibilities Include:



  • Lead and manage the CSSP program, ensuring adherence to DoD requirements.
  • Oversee Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities.
  • Direct daily operations for CSSP Analysts and the CNDSP Technical Writer.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, procedures, and assessments.
  • Develop policies and provide recommendations for service enhancements.
  • Coordinate with organizational leaders to maintain operations and complete projects on time.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance across information systems.
  • Mentor and train team members in cybersecurity practices and incident response.
  • Stay informed on evolving threats and implement secure strategies for enterprise networks. Performs other job-related duties as assigned



Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:



  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, MIS, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 6 years managing IT security teams with a focus on security operations and incident response.
  • Obtain/hold a relevant NICE framework certification within 6 months (e.g., Sec+, CISSP, CISM).
  • Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of current cybersecurity technologies and tools.
  • Experience mentoring Computer Network Defense (CND) teams.
  • Travel: Approximately 10% (Local and Nationwide)
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
