Job Description
The Technician - ERC Shop Service 2 is responsible for work on beginning stages of cold drink equipment repair on the Equipment Refurbishment Center (ERC) service line.
What your day will look like:
- Triage
- Wash equipment
- Painting equipment
- Operating metal bending equipment and installing onto equipment
- Pre-prep of equipment (ordering parts, deliver parts, install graphics)
- Performing mechanical service on cold drink equipment
- Operate Handheld and Laptop
- Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management
What you need to succeed:
- Minimum age 18 years old
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
- Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
- Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
- Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 0 to 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic knowledge of hand tools
- Repeated sitting, standing, walking, pushing/pulling, climbing stairs, and lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50
- lbs.
- Continuous bending, kneeling, squatting, grasping, reaching, fine manipulation and exposure to chemicals and noise
