Join a global leader in direct-to-consumer video streaming as a Technical Program Manager. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop cutting-edge machine learning models and algorithms for personalized content recommendations.

Duration: 6+ month contract

100% remote, East Coast preferred

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $85 - $90 / hr. w2



Responsibilities:

As a Technical Program Manager, you will coordinate resources, drive communication, and ensure efficient delivery of programs. You will act as a liaison between Product and Engineering teams, aligning technical roadmaps and delivering top-tier software products.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Support engineering and product teams with program management and coordination.
  • Define and manage schedules, resources, milestones, and releases.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and decisions to stakeholders, including executives.
  • Conduct risk analysis and communicate management plans.
  • Build relationships across teams and serve as an end-to-end liaison.
  • Contribute to a team of Technical Program Managers and lead large-scale program delivery.
  • Educate partner teams on agile best practices.



Experience Requirements:

Required Skills:




  • 7+ years as a Technical Program Manager or equivalent experience in media, technology, or consumer software.
  • Experience with scalable agile processes and change management.
  • Strong knowledge of consumer application development and SDLC.
  • Proven leadership in managing large teams on complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with distributed, remote, or global teams.
  • Familiarity with backend services, data schemas, and API contracts.
  • Proficiency with project management tools like Jira and Confluence.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Ability to educate, build trust, and foster strong relationships.
  • Experience in the media entertainment industry, especially streaming services.
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning, cloud computing, and full-stack development.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD and analytics tools.
  • Programming experience in Python, SQL, or JVM languages.
