Quality Assurance Lead

Who we are looking for:

We are currently searching for a Quality Assurance Lead to be based out of Thomasville, GA. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Assurance Lead will be responsible for directing and supervising QA Analysts, setting up formulation trials, and resolving product complaints.

What you'll do:

Quality Assurance Lead's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Direct and supervise QA Analyst(s)
  • Create and/or modify Specification Sheets
  • Interpret ASTM, NEMA, and UL standards for company
  • Communicate and work to resolve issues regarding Quality, QC Recordkeeping, and Testing Accuracy
  • Communicate QA/QC issues to production floor
  • Interpret technical needs, write letters, and provide documentation
  • Answer customer questions regarding applications and/or installation
  • Investigate, resolve and direct recording of product complaints
  • Compose certification letters
  • Interpret and review standards
  • Maintain formulations - Proper formula by product
  • Set up formulation trials
  • Maintaining regrind testing protocol


What you'll bring:



  • Minimum educational requirement is high school diploma, or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of Quality Control experience
  • ASQ Certified Quality Inspector preferred


Within 3 months, you'll:



  • Complete any required training
  • Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role.
  • Be well-versed in Atkore's Business Systems and the importance of your role to daily operations.
