Position Summary:

The Senior IT Manager will lead and oversee the IT operations across multiple manufacturing sites within a Product Group. Each site has a dedicated IT Manager, who will report directly to this role. The Senior IT Manager will focus on creating and implementing standardized IT processes, driving technology improvements, and aligning IT strategies to meet the operational goals of each location. This role requires a strong leader who can effectively manage a distributed team, enhance collaboration, and ensure uniformity and compliance in IT operations across all sites.

Qualifications & Requirements:



  • Demonstrate expert-level knowledge and application of Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) frameworks and NIST 800-171 standards to ensure compliance with government and contractual requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of IT management experience in a multi-site , preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • At least 3-4 years of manufacturing experience required
  • Proficient in network infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and enterprise systems
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects, with PMP or equivalent certification preferred
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills with experience managing remote teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • This position may require up to 40% travel to the manufacturing sites to support on-site IT teams and ensure compliance and performance. Non-standard business hour work may be required to avoid impacts to production or in case of an emergency situation

  • Standardization & Consistency: Drive uniformity in IT operations across multiple manufacturing sites by developing and implementing standardized policies, procedures, and protocols
  • Project Leadership: Lead complex IT projects across all sites, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, on-time completion, and adherence to quality standards
  • Performance Monitoring: Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess IT performance across sites, focusing on uptime, system efficiency, and security compliance
  • Resource Management: Oversee budgets, ensuring cost-effective technology utilization, compliance with licensing, and strategic resource allocation
  • Cross-Functional Engagement: Partner with senior leadership and operational managers to understand business needs and translate them into IT strategies
  • IT Team Coordination: Facilitate regular communication and best practice sharing among site IT Managers, fostering a cohesive team approach across all locations
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, ensuring cost-effective contracts and timely support for hardware, software, and IT services
  • Leadership Development: Mentor and develop IT Managers at each site, empowering them with decision-making authority within defined parameters and fostering a collaborative IT culture
  • Innovation and Improvement: Encourage IT teams to propose improvements in technology use and support operational efficiency. Lead efforts to adopt new technologies that add value to the business
  • Training & Growth: Create development programs for IT Managers, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to excel and lead effectively within their sites

Pay Transparency:

Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is [$120k-140k ] (DOE) per year, plus incentive compensation. Exact salary will be contingent upon your experience, education, skills, and any other factors Winchester Interconnect Corporation considers relevant to the hiring decision.
