Job Summary We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and creative Marketing Assistant to collaborate with our Sales team and drive impactful marketing initiatives. The Marketing Assistant will support the Sales team by managing marketing projects, enhancing the company's brand presence, and assisting with various administrative and operational tasks. This role requires strong multitasking abilities, creativity, and a commitment to excellence in delivering high-quality results. Primary Responsibilities (Job Duties) You Will:
- Website Management: Lead the content redevelopment of the company website to ensure accurate and engaging representation of our services.
- Social Media: Develop and execute strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement across social media platforms.
- Presentations: Design and enhance PowerPoint presentations to support the Sales team, ensuring they are visually appealing and impactful.
- Marketing Collateral: Create, modify, and manage the inventory of marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, and other resources.
- Event Coordination: Plan and prepare for conventions, managing logistics, booth materials, and promotional giveaways.
- Association Management: Oversee and manage memberships, events, and participation in industry associations.
- Budget Management: Prepare and monitor budgets for conventions, association dues, and other marketing expenses.
- Commissions: Review and prepare sales executive commission reports for approval.
- Salesforce Administration: Manage and maintain the Salesforce database to ensure it is up-to-date and optimized for maximum benefit.
- Reporting: Ensure sales executives receive accurate and timely monthly reporting packages and the tools needed for success.
- Training Support: Schedule PBS training for agents and assist sales executives in conducting training sessions when needed.
- Special Projects: Collaborate on special projects as assigned by leadership, sales executives, or other team members.
- Backup Roles: Serve as a backup for agent services when necessary.
Qualifications You Have:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or 5 years related experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing or sales support, preferably in the financial or insurance industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
