Summary:

Provides assistance and technology support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. Technology includes but is not limited to personal computers and laptops based on Windows operating Systems, printers and network equipment, Microsoft Office applications, various software and hardware and collaborative applications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.

Monitor, manage and resolve the requests of IT support received through the help desk application, trough call or directed assigned

Quickly and effectively analyze and solve problems within the following

realms: Hardware, Software, Connectivity, Office Applications, VPN,

Antivirus, NetApp CIFS and shared folders

3.

Recommend or perform actions to correct software or system problems

10 %

4.

Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues and accurately document solutions, troubleshooting procedures and end user training manual when requested

5.

Performing PC maintenance, software installation, upgrades and initial configuration utilizing remote monitoring and management software such as Microsoft SCCM

Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor Degree in Information Systems and related field or equivalent work experience

Experience

3 to 5 years' experience in similar corporate IT support environments

Competencies & Attributes

  • Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and organize a heavy work load and multiple deadlines
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Product, including SCCM, Office 365 Suite, SharePoint, Lync/OCS
  • Strong expertise to support Remote Users
  • VMWare and NetApp basic knowledge
  • Ability to work and walk up to 8 hours per day
  • Cisco network equipment experience will be considered a plus

Licensure/Certification

  • Microsoft Certification or proved experience on major Microsoft products
  • NetApp and/or Cisco certification will be considered a plus
