The Treasury Management Officer (TMO) is responsible for business development and client retention within Associated Bank's Treasury Management (CDTM) division. The primary focus is on generating new fee income and increasing deposit balances, while also supporting existing client relationships.

This person will also:

  • Generate new deposits and fee income from Treasury Management (CDTM) services.

  • Identify and understand clients' needs, matching them with the appropriate treasury services.

  • Develop relationships and negotiate customized pricing to increase market share.

  • Prepare sales presentations, RFPs (Request for Proposals), and conduct CDTM reviews.

  • Maintain and grow existing relationships with Treasury Management clients, including high-volume users.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Relationship Managers, Client Delivery Specialists, Customer Service) to support clients' needs across banking products, including credit, foreign exchange, and wealth management.

  • Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and product offerings.

  • Represent the bank in networking, conferences, and community/business functions to build a strong network and positive image.

  • Provide mentorship and training to junior colleagues to ensure consistency in service and sales activities.

  • Actively participate in team meetings, share market insights, and contribute to achieving team goals.

  • Ensure compliance with internal and external policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.

  • Participate in community and business functions to establish connections and build the bank's presence.

  • Establish referral networks within the community, and serve on boards where applicable.

  • Travel nationally on a regular basis.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Business, Finance, or Accounting. Required

Experience

  • 7-10 years Treasury Management relationship, implementation, product or sales with an emphasis on business development. Required

Licenses and Certifications

  • AAP - Accredited ACH Professional. Preferred

  • CTP - Certified Treasury Professional. Preferred

  • Must have access to reliable transportation and the ability to lawfully drive self, if applicable by start date. Required
