Position Summary:
The Production Supervisor is accountable for assisting Management in gaining maximum productivity of quality products at the least cost, in the safest manner by managing and directing the Solenis personnel working in their areas.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to leading the HPWO efforts, coordinating maintenance activities, serving as subject matter expert on permitting and management representative/coordinator for high hazard permits,
onboarding and benchmarking of operators ensuring that Solenis employees comply with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, and communicating Solenis policies and goals to employees in these areas. Responsible for ensuring that company policy and procedures are enforced and adhered to. Collaborates with other departments to determine, analyze, and mitigate
issues with the respective production areas. Accountable for resolving member conflict and fostering an environment in which the workforce is engaged.

Your primary duties and responsibilities will be:
* Assigns work assignments to the shift leads along with mixing operators.
* Ensures plant safety procedures are followed in order to promote personal safety and the safety of others.

* Practices strong engagement with direct reports and team members including promoting diversity, sharing responsibility for success, demonstrating honesty and integrity, helping employees solve problems and showing respect.

* Engage in continuous improvement by identifying current issues, and proactively improving processes to address Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Inventory opportunities.

* Provides training to Operators for benchmarking and onboarding

* Ensures compliance regarding preventive maintenance and general maintenance as required.

* Performs safety inspections and reports safety issues. Corrects safety issues or raises awareness until issue can be resolved to avoid potential incidents.

* Identifies maintenance requirements and works with maintenance to repair equipment as required.

* Works with management team to develop and implement process improvement initiatives.

We believe the successful candidate will have:

* High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

* Technical degree from 2-year college/university (preferred)

* 3 plus years of manufacturing experience (preferred)

* Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

* Minimum 1 year leadership Experience required.

Must be self-directed, motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment; Work schedule flexibility, with no advance notice, to accommodate needs of the organization.
