Moog is looking for anElectrical Design/Development Engineerto join our Test Equipment Engineering team.You will develop complex electronic test equipment needed to test electrohydraulic, electromechanical, mechanical and electropneumatic components and systems for military aircraft.Reporting to an Engineering manager, you will have a 9/80 work schedule with a hybrid work option (3 or more days/week in the office depending on program needs) in Torrance, CA.

As an Electrical Development Engineer, you will:

  • Contribute to the conceptualization and design of automatically controlled mechanical/hydraulic test rigs.

  • Validate conceptual problem solutions by performing trade studies and analyses.

  • Contribute to the preparation of successful proposal designs, cost estimates, and technical write ups and reports.

  • Work as part of a design/development team, which includes other Test Equipment engineers

  • Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its technical reputation.

  • Create reliable designs through a comprehensive experimental development test program.Contribute to the evolution of the conceptual design, technical project planning, detail design, and development testing.

To be considered for this role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

  • 2+ years of Engineering work experience in Electrical Design, Test, or Manufacturing

It would be a plus if you also had:

  • Experience in the development of electronic devices or control systems

  • Experience with development programs working as a part of a project team

  • Experience with the design and development of electro-hydraulic, electromechanical, or electro-pneumatic servo-mechanisms

  • Experience in the areas of Requirements Definition, Integration, V&V, modeling & simulation with project management

  • Experience in the Aerospace industry

  • Master's Degree in Engineering

Salary Range Transparency:

Torrance, CA $85,000.00-$115,000.00 Annually
