As a Caregiver with AccentCare, you will provide non-medical support, including personal home care and homemaking services. enabling clients to remain in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities include:
- Personal care assistance
- Meal preparation

- Competitive Pay - $15 hourly for full-time float caregivers
- $13 hourly for part-time non-float caregivers

Be the Best Caregiver You Can Be If you meet these qualifications, we want to meet you!
- Must be able to drive up to 90 miles away from their residence.
- Must be able to work weekends as needed.
- Experience as a caregiver
- Sufficient endurance to perform tasks during long work hours
- Bilingual (English& Spanish)preferred but not mandatory
- A valid Driver's License
- At least 18 years of age required
- Must not be the parent of a minor child or spouse of client - on service with the agency
- Must be free of communicable disease and open infectious wounds
- Must have a valid Texas driver's license and current automobile liability insurance. Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to stand and walk throughout majority of shift on various surfaces in client's homes.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds such as mop buckets, groceries, and bags with trash
- Must be able to push/pullup to various weights while performing tasks such as pushing client in wheelchair and transferring client.
- Must be able to climb stairs up to two levels daily while making client visits.
- Must be able to balance while assisting clients to walk and climb stairs on a daily basis while performing client care activities.
- Must be able to bend, twist, use rotating motions and reach while performing various client care activities.
- Must be able to handle various client care supplies such as needles, dressings, and equipment.
- Must be able to accurately chart and read client's records.
- Must be alert and able to identify and avoid hazards. Report all hazards immediately and take corrective measures as directed.
- must be okay with Working Conditions: May be exposed to various heat, cold, wet and humid conditions while traveling to various clients' homes. May be occupationally exposed to blood and other potential infectious materials. Must be able to comply with infection control procedures. May be confronted from time to time with animals of client's. Client's homes may have atmospheric conditions such as fumes, orders, dust, gases and/or poor ventilation.
